History of Suntastic Outdoor Fabrics

Suntastic branded outdoor fabrics were first developed in 2014 by Home Fashions International, a home fashions products company, with offices in New York and a manufacturing facility in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Suntastic 2000 Outdoor Fabrics are made from solution dyed polyester yarns, which allow the fabrics made from these yarns, to provide the ultimate in UV protection from the sun.  Products made from these yarns maintain their color and quality for up to 5 years.

Suntastic 1000 Outdoor Fabrics are made from solution dyed polyester yarns, which allow the fabrics made from these yarns, to provide the superior in UV protection from the sun.  Products made from these yarns maintain their color and quality for up to 3 years.

Solution dyed polyester yarns are extruded in color, a unique process that allows the color of the yarn to penetrate through it completely. If you look at a cross section of a solution dyed yarn it is solid color throughout.

In addition to the unique color properties of Suntastic Outdoor Fabrics, and the products made from them, the spun yarns used in the fabrics give it the softest and most luxurious hand of any fabrics offered in the outdoor industry.
